Helen M. Estep
July 28, 1936 – July 19, 2015
Helen M. Estep of Montrose passed away early Sunday afternoon July 19, 2015 at her residence at the age of 78.
Helen was born in Norwood, Colorado on July 28, 1936 to Manson G. and Gertrude R. (Brummitt) Estep.
She spent most of her childhood in Montrose, where she also attended school. Helen was a Personnel Assistant for U.S.D.A Forest Service.
Helen was a faithful volunteer at Montrose Memorial Hospital for many years as well as Valley Manor Care Center, and The Ute Museum here in Montrose. She was a member of R.S.V.P. Helen was an avid traveler, and enjoyed to crochet and read.
Helen is survived by her brothers, J.D. Estep of Cortez, Co; Al (Donna) Estep of Belton, Tx; her sister Joyce (Paul) Pirnat of Bentonville, Ar. Her nieces Val Fransico of Cortez, Co; Robin Hughes of Cortez, Co; Tiffany Core of Stafford, Va; Storm (Edd) Fallon of Craig, Co; Rain (Kerry) Williams of Brookhaven, Ms. Helen is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Kevin (Misty) Judson of Mancus, Co; Cody Fallon of Ft. Collins, Co; Jason Fransico of Cortez, Co; Lacey (Lyle) Simmons of Lewis Arriola, Co; Trace Fallon of Craig, Co; Sean Fallon of Craig, Co. and great-great nephew, Kelton Judson of Mancus, Co.
Helen is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Manson ” Tex” and Gertrude Estep, her sister Frances Estep, her sister in laws Liz Estep and Linda Estep.

A Funeral Service to honor Helen will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10:00am at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Paul Nystrom officiating. Interment will follow at the Norwood Cemetery in Norwood, Co at 12:30pm.
Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home, Montrose, Colorado.
