Helen was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Montrose and was an active member at the Nazarene Church in Delta, when she was a resident there.  She came from a “praying family” and served as Sunday school secretary for 43 years and as mission president for four years.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, Charley, Raymond and Eldon Gilbert and grandson Darrell Gardener

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at First Church of the Nazarene, with Nephew Rev. Paul Gilbert and Pastor Buddy Cook officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Delta Municipal Cemetery in Delta.  Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado
