Gerald Allen Pariseau

Gerald Allen Pariseau was born to Adlore and Ruth Pariseau on October 19, 1931 in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He graduated high school in Minneapolis.  Jerry married Kathleen Yvonne Hass on December 5, 1953.  He and Kathy joined the Lutheran Church and he was baptized into Christ.  While living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jerry and Kathy had two sons; Thomas and Mark.  Soon after moving to Montrose, Colorado in February 1966, they had a third son, Paul.  Jerry worked in the electrical and computer field for Western Area Power Administration for 25 years.  Kathy and Jerry were members of Zion Lutheran Church and the Montrose community since 1966.  Jerry went to “the house of the Lord” on May 2, 2013.  He is survived by his wife, of 59 years, Kathy Pariseau.  Jerry was a loving husband and father.  He leaves behind his sons, Thomas, Mark and Paul, daughter-in-law Kelly; grandchildren Rachel, Heather, Grace, Katie and Erik; and one great grandchild Rooke.  The Funeral service will be Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 701 S. Junction; Pastor  Michael Rime will officiate.  The family asks that any memorial be made to Zion Lutheran or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado.
