Gay N. Muse, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Willowtree Care Center in Delta, Colorado. Gay was born on April 6, 1929 to John and Pearl (McCard) House in Fanshaw, Oklahoma where she also grew up. On July 30, 1953 Gay married George Muse in Las Vegas, NV. They celebrated 42 years of marriage until George’s passing in 1995. Gay was a member of Loving Baptist Church in Loving, OK. Gay loved to play scrabble, watch the Denver Broncos, quilting, and listing 8 tracks.
Gay is survived by her son Dean Muse of Delta, CO; her daughter Toni Spruiell of Dallas, TX; Patti Caldwell of Vail, CO; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Gay is preceded in death by her parents John and Pearl House; her husband George Muse; and her daughter Lisa Muse, and her son George Muse Jr.
At Gay’s request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory.
