Garret Carl Middleton, 15, of Montrose, Colorado passed away on Saturday, April, 19, 2014. Garret was born in Montrose, CO on February 6, 1999, to Jason and Corin Middleton.  He attended Montrose High School where he was involved in football, basketball, and baseball.  Garret received recognition in the 2013 edition of The Best Players in Babe Ruth League.

Garret also loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors, and hanging out with his friends.  After school and practice, Garret could often be found practicing with his bow.

Garret is survived by his father and mother; his sister, Chelsea Middleton of Montrose, CO; his great-grandmother, Betty Stahly of Paonia, CO; his grandparents, Bernie and Brenda McFarlane of Paonia, CO and Bob and Nancy Middleton of Paonia, CO; his aunts and uncles, Reed and Jolene Bayles of Hotchkiss, CO and Travis and Christy Loberg of Paonia, CO; and several cousins. 

A memorial service for Garret will be held at Grace Community Church at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014.  The service will conclude at the church. Contributions to the Garret Middleton benefit fund may be made at any Montrose Bank. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado
