I'm A.J. Chilson, Francis' nephew. I wrote a poem about my aunt that I'll share with y'all on here. I'll let this poem speak for itself on the kind of woman Aunt Francis was. In Loving Memory of My Aunt (To Francis Hamacher, 1945-2022) You were my aunt, and a wonderful one; You helped others, as days are by the sun. You brought life to four amazing children, And wasn't the one to tolerate sin. You treated friends and foes like family, And won over admirers like me. You were a shining example of the good That is in this world, like all people should. But not everyone lives the way you did; Your life was definitely not sordid. Some people enjoy getting in trouble, Yet you didn't care for any rumble. A lesson should be learned of how you were, As a faithful woman of pure honor.
