A Memorial Service in celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Norwood Christian Church. The service will conclude at the Church. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.

Evelyn Barnett Barrett, age 86, of Redvale, Colorado passed away on April 23, 2017. Evelyn was born November 18, 1930 in Upperglade Webster County, West Virginia. She was born at home being the second of 14 children to Lassie Adeline (Sill) Barnett and Arthur Robert Barnette. Evelyn married Lee Barrett on February 17, 1968 and have celebrated 49 years together.
Evelyn had a soft heart, a loving soul and was a much devoted wife and mother her entire life. She was actively involved in her community church and activities. As many of you know, Evelyn’s passion was sewing. She sewed until her hands could do no more. Those hands had created thousands of crafts.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Lee Barrett; her daughter, Victoria Stiles; son-in-law Colin Stiles and her three grandchildren, Aaron, Kayland and Savanah; as well as her siblings, James, Bill, Oren, Otis, Walter, Ann, Avie and June. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Ellen, Kenny, Clayton and Debbie.
