ELSIE GERALDINE LOVE

Elsie Geraldine Love went to be with the Lord May 18, 2021 in Delta, Colorado.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends!

Elsie, known by her family as Toots, was born March 12, 1952 in Norwood, Colorado. They lived mostly in the country so Elsie loved to play outdoors, help with her Little Granny, ride the burros (especially when Dad said not too!), play trucks and build roads with her big brother and sisters.

Elsie attended grade school in Hotchkiss, Colorado and high school in Nucla, Colorado.  She met and married Roy Reed in 1970 and had two children, Roy Lance and Monica Geraldine, but they divorced in 1984.

Elsie and the children moved to Oklahoma until they were out of school.  Elsie then moved back to Colorado for a short time.  She married a cousin Harry Love, in 1993 and they moved to Arizona.

Elsie loved to travel, crochet, visiting and chatting with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, helping her church family and most of all her Lord and Savior.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Arlena Love, her husband Harry Love and sister Georgie Belle Reed.  She is survived by her brother Bill Pierce (Nancy), sisters Virginia Marie Ware and Carla Rae Love, brother-n-law Fred Reed, daughter Monica Geraldine Peddicord and son Roy Lance Reed (Jennifer), grandsons Corey Logan Peddicord and Laramie Ulysses Reed, granddaughters Sadie LaRhane Reed and Colette Elise Peddicord, nephews Willy Joe Pierce (Shannon) and Bobby Arthur Pierce (Jana), niece Arlena Belle Reed, great-nephews Jeremy William and Cody Logan, great-nieces Laney Nicole Pierce, Makayla Michelle Pierce, Jessica Nicholle Pierce, and Megan Makenzie.

Services were held at Delta Municipal Cemetery in Delta, Colorado on May 26, 2021.  Psalm 23
