Lifetime Montrose resident Elaine Rae Wilson, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, October 18, 2014 at her home in Montrose, at the age 57 with her loving family by her side, after a courageous  battle with breast cancer.

Elaine was born October 29, 1956 in Montrose to Russell E. & Jody (Sutherlin) Brown. Elaine spent her childhood and attended school in Montrose, graduating from Montrose High School. Elaine continued her education at North Eastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado.

Elaine married Terry Gene Wilson on March 25, 2007 in Montrose, Co. Elaine worked in many departments with the City Market Corporation. In her later years as the Manager of the Starbuck in the Montrose South City Market location.

Elaine treasured her time with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren as much as possible. She enjoyed riding  in the mountains on 4 wheelers with her family, and shopping for her grandchildren, any chance she got.

Survivors include her beloved husband Terry, her mother Jody Brown, her sons Cory L. (Bridget) Huston & Ty A. Huston, both of Montrose. Elaine is also survived by her brothers; Lane, Zane, & Wayne, and her sister Lorraine. As well as seven beloved grandchildren, Lindsay, Layton, Jacob, Landon, Shane, Kaylor, and Christian. Elaine is preceded in death by her father Rusty Brown.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10:30 am at the Abundant Life Church, 2430 E. Niagara, Montrose with a Funeral Service to follow the visitation at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow the service at Grand View Cemetery, West of Montrose.  A reception will follow the graveside service at the church.  Memorial Contributions in loving memory of Elaine may be made to Bosom Buddies of Western Colorado, P.O.
