Edwina  Mikkelsen, age 83 of Montrose, Colorado, died September 8, 2014 at her home. She was born to John Edwin and Bridget (Fowler) Mikkelsen September 4, 1930 in New Delhi, India.  Edwina was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed crafts, and working with her hands.  Her children remember her caking decorating expertise. Edwina loved spending time with family, children and grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by them all.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Mikkelsen of the family home, her children, Maryann Wolzak of Overguard, Arizona, Janet Wolzak of Tucson, Arizona, Ed Mikkelsen, of Montrose; Susan Mathews and her three sons Gabriel, Brandon and Charlie; son Victor (Cristen) Mikkelsen of Manitou Springs, Colorado.  At Edwina’s request, cremation has taken place and a service will not be held but a gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory, Montrose, Co.
