Edith Orine Bruce Barela

9/21/1929-2/17/2023

At age 93 she passed away peacefully in her home.

Born in Oklahoma City, to Roy Barnes, and Marie McCourry.

She raised 4 children, Timmie de Castro, Barbara Bruce Garner, Josephine Ballejos, and Ed Albert.

She was a proud member of the Montrose Women’s Club, LA Swing Club, Good Sam Club and past President of Emblem Club.

She was a volunteer at the senior center, and the Montrose Public Library on her free time.

She took great pride in raising her children.

She also enjoyed making Christmas stockings, painting, crocheting, and she spent a lot of her time reading books.

She was loved and will be missed by so many.
