Donald D. Davis

Donald D. Davis passed away February 1, 2015 at Montrose Memorial Hospital with his loving wife by his side. There will be no services held at this time.

Donald was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on March 5, 1937 to John and Eva (Schale) Davis. He spent most of his childhood in Arkansas and Colorado, but graduated from Joplin High School in Joplin, Missouri.  Shortly after that he spent eight years with the Army Reserves. On April 26, 1957 Donald married the love of his life Beverly Holt in South Gate, California. Donald and Beverly had two sons, Tom and Mark Davis; two daughters Cyndy, and Paula.  Throughout his life Donald enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, reading, and pickle ball.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents Eva (Schale) Davis and John Davis.

Donald is survived by his wife Beverly (Holt) Davis; his two sons Tom Davis of Fruita, CO; Mark Davis of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia; two daughters, Cyndy (Davis) Hepburn of Grand Junction, CO; Paula Davis of Plainfield, NJ; one brother in law John Holt of Montrose, CO; two granddaughters Sierra Davis, and Milan Davis.

Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Grand View Cemetery.
