Diane Lucienne Senecal, 72, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2020, surrounded by her husband and children in Montrose, Colorado.  Diane was born in Saratoga, NY on December 4, 1947 to Lucien and Gertrude Marcotte.  She was raised in Corinth, NY and also lived in Queensbury, NY and Tampa, FL.  She moved to Montrose in 1990.  She was a loving, caring, and compassionate wife, mother, and grandmother as well as an excellent homemaker.  She loved to cook, and blessed her family with delicious meals and baked goods.  Most of all, Diane loved to spend time with her family.  She was a kid at heart, and could often be found running and playing with her grandchildren.  Diane was a woman of strong faith and walked in God’s word.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, George P. Senecal of Montrose, CO; her three children, Michelle Harkness (Marti) of Tallahassee, FL; Melissa Senecal (Tracy) of Montrose, CO; and Aaron Senecal (Julie) of Nashville, TN; her brother Norman Marcotte (Mary Ann) of Amsterdam, NY; and her seven grandchildren who were the lights of her life- Alexa Harkness, Ariel Lightsey, Gavriel Lightsey, Gideon Senecal, Ezra Senecal, Levi Senecal, and Titus Senecal.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Crippin Funeral Home, 802 E. Main Street, Montrose, CO.
