Dallas David Roberts, 19, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Montrose, Colorado. Born on March 25, 2005, in Greeley, Colorado, Dallas grew up with a love for music and a strong faith that shaped his kind and caring spirit.
Dallas attended schools in Greeley, participating in soccer, football, track and field, NJROTC, and bull riding. In Montrose, Dallas played football and lacrosse. In November 2022, he moved to Montrose and graduated from Montrose High School in 2023. He then pursued Early Childhood Education at Colorado Mesa University, where he felt called to work with children. Dallas was excited about his future as a teacher, eager to nurture young minds and make a difference.
An avid learner, Dallas shared his love for music and craftsmanship with his family. He built a guitar with his Uncle Dwight, played bass with his brother, jammed with his Papa Russ, and worked in the shop with his dad. Dallas was a loving child of God; he was fascinated by angels and constantly searching the word of God for peace, answers, and understanding.
Known for his sensitivity and compassion, Dallas’s tender heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His faith, devotion to family, and dedication to his goals will inspire his loved ones to be the best, most authentic, and kindest versions of themselves.
Dallas is survived by his father Elliott and Deanna Roberts; brother Preston Roberts; stepsister Alycia Shaffer and fiance` Jeff DeJohn; stepsister Sarah and Wes Marsh and niece Parker Jane; Grandparents Russell and Germaine Bryant; his Uncle Dwight Roberts; and a loving extended family. Dallas is also survived by his mother Lori Roberts; Grandma Sharon Huffman; Uncle Chad and Aunt Julie Huffman, and his beloved cousins Victoria, Emily, and William Huffman.
