Clinton C Shilts was born August 30, 1956, to Thomas (Bud) and Lillian Delores (Eytcheson) Shilts in Bozeman, Montana. Clint spent his childhood and attended schools in Montana and Wisconsin. He spent his childhood growing up on a farm in Trego, Wisconsin. Clinton came from a large family of nine children and six half siblings whom he did not know growing up.

In 1975 Clinton married Robin (Gunnerson) Shilts, and they were blessed with five children, one that they lost at six months to SIDS. Clinton worked for Louisiana Pacific (LP) in Hayward Wisconsin and was transferred to Olathe, Colorado to help with problem solving at the plant. Clinton continued on with LP as the Olathe plant shut down, Clint traveled to Texas, Ireland, Maine and Wisconsin for LP.  During this time his wife and he parted ways but remained friends. Clinton decided to return to Western Colorado at that time to be with his children, and went to work for Conveyor Services/Fenner Dunlap as Vice President, and he began working in the Mining Industry.  In 2006 Clinton met Pamela (Hindman) Shilts and they dated occasionally until 2008 when they decide to move in together. On December 27, 2012 Clinton took Pamela to Las Vegas and they were married in a little chapel with Pamela’s parents present and she was lucky enough to have her father walk her down the aisle. In 2016, as Clinton was deciding to slow down in life, he went to work for Volunteers of America Float Team to drive and do Environmental Services work. This soon became more of a mission to him than a job, he was so proud to help those in need.

Clinton had a love for the outdoors from four wheeling, camping, fishing, hunting, geocaching, and taking vacations just to see the world and learn about the history of a new area.
