Cliff passed away of natural causes 12/6/19 at Montage Creek, Montrose.  Cliff was 83 years old.

Cliff was born 02/09/1936 in Frederick, Colorado.  He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Helen Ary, and brothers, Bill (Carol) Ary of Lakewood, Colorado, and Bob (Marlyn) Ary of Meeker, Colorado.  Cliff spent his childhood in Missouri and Colorado and he attended high school at Yampa, Colorado.

Cliff met his wife Kay (Phillips) in Ridgway and was married in October 1956, they were married for 63 years.  Cliff and Kay ranched and raised their family in Ridgway.  He also retired from the US Postal service as a rural mail carrier.

Cliff was a member of the Ouray County Cattlemen, Elks Lodge, Ouray County Sherriff Posse, and Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association.  He enjoyed team roping, hunting, and watching rodeo and sporting events including watching his daughters and grand children participate.

Cliff is survived by his spouse, Kay of Montrose; sisters, Sharon Ozbun and Shirley Ary of Longmont; daughters, Rhonda (Guy) Gard, Montrose, Jnl (Ron) Linsacum, Craig, Karla (Duane) Deveny, Montrose and Paula (Ken) Norell of Delta.  Cliff and Kay have 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 11, at 10:00 am at Church180, Montrose, Pastor Bryan Lark officiating.  Crippin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.    In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hope West of Montrose, CO.    A special thank you to the staff at Montage Creek for their kind compassionate care.
