October 1, 1945 ~ December 7, 2016

Clara Cesley (Kaiwa) Ila, age 71, of Montrose, passed away, December 7, 2016 at her  home, with her loved ones present.  Clara was born October 1, 1945 to Kenneth and Naomi Kaiwa at Misima Island. Her childhood was spent on Misima Island  and she graduated from Rabaul High School, and went on to secretarial college in Port Moresby.  Clara married Teio Ila and they resided in Lae, Papua New Guinea when he preceded Clara in death.

She was a member of Solid Rock Foundation Ministries in Montrose and was a proud and hardworking missionary for many years prior to her moving to Montrose.  Her special interests were her family, grandchildren and spending time with friends.  Surviving family members include her son Geoffrey Ila (Wife Megan) of Montrose, her daughter Daniella Tabor (Husband John) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her eight Grandchildren, Teira, Jamie, Jasmine, Shae, Natasha, Tayne, Tyrone and Yates.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Clara’s life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Crossroads Victory Worship Center in Montrose with Pastor David Tabor officiating.  The Service will conclude at the Church.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family
