Christopher L. Romaine, age 57, of Redvale, Colorado died June 17, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Chris was born June 11, 1960 in Binghamton, N.Y. to Charles and Marlea Ann (Bausch) Romaine. He spent his childhood on a family dairy farm in Binghamton.
Chris married his wife, Ellen on June 28, 1982 in Monticello, Utah. Chris lived all over, but has made Redvale his home for the last 27 years, except for the four years he and Ellie moved to Binghamton. He loved life. Two of his favorite things to do were riding horses and motorcycles. He loved his family and his grandchildren were the love of his life. They kept him going during the tough times. Chris had many occupations throughout his lifetime, but his favorite was in sales whether he was selling care, lumber or nuts and bolts. He loved it all.
Survivors include his wife Ellen; his mother Ann Goodman of Apache Jct. Arizona; son, Scot (Jamie) Romaine of Redvale; two daughters Alicia (Brian) Cole of Mesa, Arizona, Melissa (Nolan) Merrill of Redvale; brothers Kevin (Peggy) Romaine of Apache Jct, Arizona, Korey Goodman of Tullahoma, Tennessee; sisters Kim (Ollie) Baggett and Kelly (Cody Young) Romaine of Norwood; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the San Juan Cancer Center. Services were held on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Redvale Community Center. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose the family.
