Charles Stanley Lawley, age 72, passed away on March 12th 2023, at his residence in Montrose, Colorado
He was born Dec. 2nd, 1950, to Margaret and Charles Lawley in Henrietta OK Charley was a long-time employee of the North Jeffco Parks Dept.
Charley had several hobbies including decades of auto racing, fishing, and camping. Charley was a simple man and did not aspire to gain materialistically but instead chose to cherish his family and friends.
Charley is survived by his Stepmother Jeanne Mascher, Siblings Rodger, Pam, Mark and Randy, Daughters Tracy Martinez, April McCrea, and Stacy Chism, several grandchildren and the loves of his life, His Great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister GiGi, and his only son Christopher.
His family and friends will gather to celebrate Charley’s life at the Olathe Fireman’s Hall in Olathe CO. at 1pm on March 18th. Charley’s family would like to thank the caregivers at Touch of Care for the daily care he received, and the nursing team and hospice staff at Touch of Care Hospice. Crippin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
