Charles “Chuck” R. Moore
August 10th, 1956 – September 21st, 2017
Charles R. Moore, known to many as Charlie or Chuck, passed away peacefully in Hailey, ID on September 21, 2017 after a strong-hearted battle against cancer.
Chuck was born in Sheridan, WY on August 10th, 1956 to Benjamin Moore and Martha Jorgenson. His children; Daniel, Ethan and Mykayla, were blessed to have him as a devoted father. Chuck started a wonderful new chapter of his life when he married Ginny Moore on October 10th, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. Her children Kayla and Brad quickly became another one of his joys. After 18 years in Montrose, CO and working in Telluride, he had moved to Idaho to begin new adventures. Some of the other adventures included Alaska, California, and Minnesota.
Chuck was a dedicated man of God who always put forth his best effort in all areas of his life. He was a loving father and husband who committed himself to them in all he could do. He pursued outdoors activities such as boating, hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, bike riding, and 4-wheeling with a contagious passion. No matter where his adventures took him he always lived life to the fullest. He was hard-working to the point of perfection and selfless in everything he did. He made friends everywhere he went with his joyous sense of humor and gave rise to uncontrolled laughter that echoed through the lives of everyone around him.
Memorial contributions in Memory of Chuck may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley at P.O. Box 4320 Ketchum, Idaho 83340.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Grand View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Grand View Cemetery.
