Celine Cascante, age 68, passed away January 5, 2017 at the Kindred Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Celine was born March 23, 1948 to Irene Gallegos in Hernandez, New Mexico. Celine graduated from Espanola Valley High School. She worked as a legal secretary for the Visa Corporation. Celine married Gilbert Cascante on May 5, 2000 in Reno, Nevada, they spent 16 wonderful years together. Celine was a member of Calvary Chapel in Montrose. She spent most of her time sewing, baking, ceramics, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Celine is survived by her daughter Lorraine Valerio of Montrose, CO; her brother Manuel Salazar of Albuquerque, NM; her sisters Floripa Gallegos, Sophie Gallegos, Margaret Martinez; and two grandchildren Teddy Valerio, and Micaela Valerio. Celine is preceded in death by her mother Irene Gallegos, and her sister Lorraine Williams.

There will be a Memorial Service for Celine on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel. Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements.
