Celene Mae Enos, of Montrose, CO. for the past 12 years, passed away February 5, 2018 at the age of 85. Celene was born January 1, 1933 to Carl Gustav and Nellie Mae (Klucking) Petersen in Tracy, MN. And graduated from Tracy High School.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Celene was a homemaker, but also a Mail Carrier for some time. She was married to Lewis Kor who preceded her in death and second husband Kenneth Enos. Celene had resided in Tracy, MN. Long Beach, CA. Cypress, CA. and Hemet, CA. before moving to Montrose 12 years ago to be closer to family. She had been a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Montrose. Celene loved her pet dogs, Sammie and Tippy, the outdoors, and gardening and reading romance novels.
Surviving family members include her children, Thomas Kor of Montrose, CO. Timothy Kor of Frisco, TX., Sally Nichols of Montrose and a sister Pauline Schmidt of Lakewood, CA. She had 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Celene was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Anderson.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service and Niche placement will follow the reception at 2:30 P.M. at Grand View Cemetery, Serenity Garden. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
