Cathy Ann Ledford earned her angel wings on June 1, 2014 after a heroic battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at her home with her family and loved ones surrounding her.

 Born August 8, 1957 in Ouray, Co to Oliver Fellin Jr. and Ramona Wilson and after her father’s passing, was raised by mom and dad, Ramona and Peter Klein. Cathy spent her childhood with her five siblings camping, swimming, and exploring Ouray.

Cathy graduated from Ouray High School in 1975, was married, and had one son, Raymond Matthew Ledford, whom she cherished dearly. After moving to Montrose, she was employed with Montrose Memorial Hospital for 17 years. She was a member of the Colorado Women’s Bowling Association and Ouray Elks Lodge.  Her passions in life included spending time with her son and family, camping, the Colorado mountains, gardening, and playing thirty-one.

 When asked what she wanted people to know about her, she replied, “I was and am a good mother. I love my blessed family; without them I would not have made it as far as I did. There is a God and Heaven, please know this.”  She is preceded in death by her father Oliver Fellin Jr. and her dear grandmother Millie Gibbs.

 She is survived by her parents, Peter and Ramona Klein of Ridgway; son Raymond Matthew of Montrose;  brother Keith Fellin (Beth Fellin), sisters Sandy Reed (Don Reed), Cheryl Taylor (Scott Taylor), Shelly Fellin (Matthew Smith) all of Montrose, sister Carrie Getchius (Michael Getchius) of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews.

 There will be a Rosary held on June 6, 2014 at St. Daniel’s Catholic Church in Ouray at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on June 7, 2014 at St. Daniel’s Catholic Church in Ouray at 11:00 a.m.
