On December 4, 2018 Cassie (Cassandra) Neill of Katy, Texas went to be

with her Lord and Savior.

Cassie was born to Derald and Olivia Jones, October 6, 1960 in Willeston,

North Dakota.

The family lived in a number of different places until 1969 when they moved to Montrose, Colorado where Cassie graduated from Montrose High School in 1979.

Cassie became interested in missionary work at a young age. She spent the summer of 1977 in Hawaii with “Teen Mission.”  After graduating from high school, she attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. While in college she did a summer internship in New York City and spent another summer in Vienna, Austria with “Taking Christ to The Millions.”

The Ozark Christian College Alumni Association and the graduating class of 1984 recognized Cassie as the outstanding graduating senior in the ministry of evangelism for which she received The Dally Evangelism Award.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Christian education, Cassie went on another missionary trip, this time to Germany, and then spent two years in Montrose, Colorado, where she was an intern at Montrose Christian Church and also taught school one year at Woodgate Christian School.

It was while she was attending Northern State University, Greely, Colorado from 1986 to 1988 that she met her husband Frederick Neill. They were married in June of 1988. To this union were born 4 daughters: Emily, Andrea, Heather and Kayley.

Cassie was a quiet, sincere, exceptional young woman. She devoted her life to the raising of her children, home-schooling them and instilling in them the love of God.

Cassie is survived by her parents, Derald and Olivia Jones, Montrose, Colorado; Frederick Neill, her husband of 30 years and 4 children, Emily Neill, Andrea Neill, Heather (Zane) Bruner, and Kayley Neill all of Katy, Texas.

A visitation will be held Tuesday morning, December 11, 2018  10AM -12PM at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Cedar Cemetery, Montrose, Colorado.
