Carla Logan

Carla Logan, age 84 a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, in Highland California. Carla Logan lived her life with zest and enthusiasm.

Carla was a cherished member of various organizations including Rotary, PEO, and Eastern Star. She was also active with the Montrose Chamber of Commerce as a Montrose Red Coat and was named Red Coat of the Year in 1987. Her dedication and contributions were deeply appreciated by all who knew her.

Carla had a special place in her heart for dogs, often finding joy and comfort in their companionship. She was also known for her melodious voice and could often be found singing beautifully in the church choir, touching the hearts of many through her music.

Carla started her career in education, she taught fourth grade classes at Northside and Morgan elementary schools. In 1971 she started working as a teller at Montrose savings and Loan, eventually working her way into management. Carla served as the Montrose County Treasurer, where her commitment to her work and the community shone brightly. Carla ended her career working with her brother David, at DeVinny Jewelers,

Her joy for the simple pleasures of life will be continued by her family: brothers David

DeVinny, Doug and Lana DeVinny and niece Marcia and Tim Myers. Her 4 children,

Randy and Dana Berryman, Curt Berryman, Candace and Chris Carmichael and Chris Berryman. Her heritage wilt also be passed on through 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and love that will be remembered by alt who had the privilege of knowing her. Carla's presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A memorial service in loving remembrance and to honor and celebrate Carla's life will be officiated by Pastor Rick Hale on Friday, July 19, at 11 a.m. at the Celebration Church, 2900 Sunnyside Rd. in Montrose.
