Carl William Madison

12-23-1931 – 02-04-2023

Dad was a long-time resident of Montrose CO.  He grew up in Clifton Arizona where he met Pauline Greenwade and eloped on Valentine’s Day in 1952.

He is survived by his children Polly Ann Smith, Beverly Garduno, Chuck Madison, 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Pauline, his 2 brothers, 1 sister, parents, daughter in law, and grandson.

He raced cars, got drafted into the Marines, rode bulls and broncs then had children and dedicated his life to us.

He retired after a long career with the Bureau of Land Management in Montrose and moved to New Mexico to ranch.  My parents returned to Montrose in 2014 and resided here until his death.

Dad was a man of integrity and made every day count.  He was always ready to help friends and neighbors.
