Braxton Lee Foreman

December 23, 2017 — November 28, 2020

Braxton Lee Foreman was born December 23, 2017 to Amber Foreman of Pea Green, Colorado.  Just four weeks short of his third birthday, Braxton succumbed to undiagnosed Diabetes on Saturday, November 28th in Delta Colorado.

Braxton was a precocious little boy who had a smile and charm for everyone. He never met a stranger. He loved Mickey Mouse and Batman. His superhero and best friend in the whole wide world was his Great-grandmother Skeeter Chamberlain. However, his greatest love was his Mother, whom he loved immensely as she did him.

Braxton attended The Learning Cottage of Montrose, Colorado where he loved, and was loved dearly, by all of his classmates and his teachers Miss Casey, Mr. Zack, Miss Donna, and Miss Rebekah. Braxton took a personal interest in the underdog and lonesome giving hugs and friendship. He felt personally responsible to greet everyone when they arrived at school and gave big bear hugs when they departed.

Braxton’s healing hugs and big blue eyes melted your heart and easily sparked great friendships with everyone.  Full of positive energy, he loved without limits. He was all boy with a stubborn streak and extremely creative. Always the life of the party and confident in his own plan how things should go. Many would say Braxton had the “light of an angel and the will of a Devil.”

Braxton was loved by many and is survived by his Mother Amber Foreman, step father Bart Kirk, Step-Brother Cam Kirk, Step-sister Serenity Kirk, Grandfather Bob (Cindy) Foreman of Olathe, Colorado, Grandmother Zuzzie (Susan) Chamberlain, (Jamie McCarty) of Tucson,  Arizona, step-grandparents Steven Kirk and Evie Kirk of Paonia, Colorado,  Uncle Daniel Foreman of Raleigh,  North Carolina,  Great Grandmother Theodore (Skeeter) Chamberlain of Pea Green,  Colorado, as well as, numerous extended family.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help alleviate his hospital expenses. Excess proceeds will be donated to an early detection of juvenile diabetes charity.  5262 5250 Trail, Delta, CO 81416

Braxton’s memory will live on our hearts.  In lieu of services, we will share his ashes with nature in the Spring in a place that he loved.
