Bradley Allen Culver

April 25, 1967 ~ October 8, 2016

Bradley Allen Culver, born April 25, 1967 peacefully passed away on October 8, 2016 at Montrose Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.  Bradley was born with Spina Bifida but was able to walk using braces and crutches, preferring that over a wheelchair.  He refused to see himself as disabled, and was able to live a full and happy life in spite of his body’s limitations.  Bradley attended Grade School in Montrose, Colorado and attended Ridgway from seventh to graduation in 1985.  He then attended Mesa College and Technical School where he received his Associates Degree.

In grand Junction, Colorado, Bradley worked for Choice Hotels for several years and then moved back to Montrose, to be close to his family and began working for Russell Stover Chocolates as an Attendance Secretary and was later promoted to Human Resources Assistant.  Bradley worked there for 14 plus years and enjoyed friendships with his co-workers.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Deborah of 11 ½ years and his parents, Allen and Jackie Culver, as well as his brother Brent Culver, wife Lana and nieces Janel and Kali Jo and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick & Marcella Culver and Jack & Wilma White.

Bradley was a friend to everyone he met and lived a full life and was an inspiration to all.  He and his wife enjoyed much laughter and love, watching Broncos, Rockies, attending JUCO, watching old movies, going fishing, spending time at Trout Lake and spending time with each other and family.

Bradley was able to donate his corneas so another person will be able to see, he would have really liked that.  In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, 2001 North High Street, Denver, CO. 80205.  A Memorial Service will be held at Montrose Christian Church, 2351 Sunnyside Road, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 2:00 P.M. The service will conclude at the church.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
