Billy Boyd, the Man, the Myth, the Legend.
In the world of Racing, every man wanted to be him. He was a Legend, setting National records in both Motocross and, Race Cars.
Billy “Iron Man” Boyd died on January 9, 2019.
He loved racing fast cars, and fast motorcycles, and building fast cars, and fast motorcycles. He loved shooting, and collecting guns, traveling around the country with his wife, eating great food, and hanging out with his parrot Bogart.
Although he died of cancer, it’s well known that he died as a result of being stubborn. Experimenting with every new anti-cancer drug, and treatment that money could buy, and… raising hell for over 60 years.
Billy loved life with a passion, often times living on the edge, and refused to give up until the day he died.
He leaves behind his loving wife Debbie Duncan-Boyd, stepdaughter Kylie, son-in-law Josh, and two grandchildren. Brothers, Tom, James, and Bob, and sister Frances.
Amazing Nephews, and their wives, that he couldn’t have made this journey without them. Mike, remember Vail Pass?
Wonderful Friends, and Fans throughout the country.
The Legend will never be forgotten.
In honor of his death, he asks that you write your Congressman, and ask for the repeal of Daylight Saving Time, he hated it.
