Beverly Dow (Carlson)

Beverly (Carlson) Dow passed away on June 29, 2019, at her home in Montrose. Beverly was born on June 15, 1934 to Ruth Ecklund Carlson and Elmer A. Carlson in the village of Thomson, Minnesota.  She attended school in Carlton and Cloquet, MN.  She married Harlin Dow on November 17, 1951.  They lived in Minnesota and North Dakota before coming to Colorado in 1972.  They managed Tastee Freeze for 7 years and Beverly also worked at Russell Stovers & McDonalds for several years.  Harlin and Beverly were married for 62 years prior to his passing in January 2013.  Beverly enjoyed holiday and family gatherings with her family.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and coffee with friends.  She frequently visited a friend in a local assisted living or takes her to lunch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin; son, Craig; and Brothers Richard Carlson and Duane Carlson. Beverly will be lovingly remembered by her children; Keith (Bernie), Randy, and Mark; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jorge), Candace, Chandra (Nick), Tanner, Madasyn, and Dakota; great grandchildren, Kiana and Layla.

A Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 1:00PM at Crippin Chapel.  Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory 970-249-2121 is assisting the family.
