Betty Browning (Garner)

November 19, 1937 — August 25, 2016

 

Betty Browning went home to her Heavenly Father in the early morning of August 25, 2016. She was born November 19, 1937 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Birley Garner and Tola Ray. She had several brothers and sisters. Soon after she was born the family moved to Oklahoma. At around the age of nine they moved back to Grand Junction, Colorado.  She married Roger Browning November 21, 1955. She had two children, three grand children, and several great grand children. She is proceeded by her parents, six of her siblings and her husband.

She enjoyed many things. She did a lot of beading and other crafts. She loved working with her family on the ranch. She always was willing to go fishing and always welcomed family and friends into her home. She especially loved spending time with the kids and teaching them.

 

She was the wife of a hard working man, and a stay at home mother. She went to church as much as she could, as it was one of her favorite things. She even moved to Redvale to take care of family, and made it her home. When her husband become ill she took care of him and the ranch. She always welcomed her grand children and great grand children anytime.

 

She was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Her services will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the San Miguel Christian Fellowship Church in Redvale CO. There will be a viewing at 12:00 to 1:00. Burial will follow funeral services at the Norwood Cemetery, in Norwood, Co. There will be a potluck Celebration of Life to immediately follow at the Norwood Community Center. Crippin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
