Bernadine Rice

Bernardine Rice, age 91, formerly of Olathe, Co., passed away Friday morning, February 8, 2013 at Willow Creek Care Center in Delta.  Surviving family members include her sons Pum Rice of Mexico, Hugh Arthur Rice of Welch, OK, Virgil Leon Rice of Winnemucca, NV, Larry Keith Rice of Olathe, CO; 16 grandchildren; host of great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.  Bernardine was preceded in death by her husband, Pum Archie Rice; a daughter Linda Fay Rice, a son Dale Rice, brothers Bill, George and Hugh Reed, sisters Ola Hughes, Belle Shelley, Cleo Wadleigh and Edith Bridgewater.  A public visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, February 13, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Crippin Chapel.  Burial will follow the service at The Olathe Cemetery, in Olathe.   Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado
