Alfred J. Berry

March 12, 1967 – April 5, 2025

Alfred J. Berry left this world peacefully on April 5, 2025. He was born in Telluride, the son of Kenneth & Elsie Berry. He then grew up in Ridgway where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for family. After graduating from Ridgway High, he went on to pursue his career in mining to which he dedicated himself to until his retirement in 2022.

A loving husband to Marla, Alfred was a pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised two children, Charity and Glayden. He was a very devoted Dad, always there to offer guidance and love. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his family, making his two grand babies giggle (Emerly & Walker), hunting, fly fishing, golfing and enjoying Gods sunrises and sunsets.

A Celebration of life will be held at The Bridges Golf Course in Montrose on Friday April 18th at 1pm to honor Alfred J. Berry. Friends and Family are encouraged to attend.
