Wallace William Wright, age 86, of Pea Green, Colorado, passed away January 20, 2016 at his home.  Wallace was born May 6, 1929 to Henry and Izora (Herrington) Wright in Stephenville, Texas.  His family moved to Pea Green, Colorado and also resided in Delta, Colorado.  Wallace attended Olathe and Delta Schools.  He married Earline Dillon on May 28, 1949 in Delta, and have celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Wallace served his country in the United States Navy for 2 ½ years.  He was honorably discharge then served in the United States Airforce for 1 ½ years.   Wallace returned to Pea Green and worked for many years as a farmer and rancher. He later on owned and operated a custom farm and leveling business until his retirement.  Wallace and Earline resided in Pea Green and made their home until Wallace’s time of death.

Wallace loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and loved to travel.  His pride and joy were his family and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by them all.

Surviving family members include his wife, Earline of the family home; daughter Vicki (Jerry) Martin also of Pea Green; and two grandchildren, Kelli (Devin) Watts of Pea Green,  Justin (Tricia) Martin of Brighton, Colorado, seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Heather (Kelly) Cannell, Hailey Martin, Kiffani Martin, Levi Martin, Braeden Martin, and Kearah Martin; two great-great-grandchildren, Jayden Martin and Ryan Hemphill; sister, Doyle Fergusen of Montrose and sister-in-law, Helen Wright of Denver, Colorado, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Wallace was preceded in death by his siblings, three brothers Guy Wright, C.B. Wright, Clyde Wright and one sister Hazel Wolverton.

At Wallace’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, in Montrose is assisting the family.
