April 19, 1960 ~ March 10, 2014

Steve was born April 19^th 1960, the only son of Teddy Williams and brother of Dunreath Nixon, Perri Wells, Mickel Haug, Lenny Wells and Jimmy Wells, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Steve was preceded in death by his father Robert Wells Sr. and his brothers, Robert Wells Jr. and Joseph Wells. Steve’s passing over the weekend of March 9, 2014 was unexpected, and we are all heartbroken.

Steve will be missed by his family, and his friends in Montrose.  Steve has always been kind, caring and empathetic to a fault.  He would go out of his way to help or care for a friend.  His life has been cut short, and though we have lost Steve too soon, we all know he is in a better place. A place where his sweet spirit can soar freely…for it is no longer trapped in life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warrior Resource Center, in memory of Stephan  Wells,  11 S. Park Avenue, Montrose, Co. 81401.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado
