Patsy was born in Montrose to Cleo Ralph and Minnie Mae (Ormsby) Culver on March 3, 1945. She attended school in Montrose, CO. She married David B. Stewart on February 16, 1964. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She played softball and bowled. She loved going to stock car races to watch her husband race. Patsy enjoyed bingo and was an avid gardener. She had a spirit that was unmatched.
Patsy is survived by her sons David Stewart, Brian Stewart, and Lenn Stewart; her daughter Melody Franklin; her brother Richard Culver; her sisters Betty Richburg, and Mickie Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Minnie Culver; her brother Ralph Culver, Frank Culver, Robert Culver, Donnell (Dode) Culver, Oliver Culver, John Culver; sister Emma Cooley; daughter Shelly Montes; granddaughter Shirah Stewart; her husband David Stewart. She will be missed by many she touched in her life. At Patsy’s request cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory.
