Lucas Scott Oeltjenbruns, age 27, left to be with the Lord, September 11, 2016 at the HopeWest Hospice Care Center in Grand Junction, Colorado. Luke was born January 13, 1989 in Delta, Colorado to Roger and Lisa (Jones) Oeltjenbruns. Luke spent his childhood in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 2007.  He attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado and earned his Associates Degree in Business. Luke married the love of his life Brittni A. West on August 1, 2009 at the First Assembly Church of God. Luke loved baseball, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and working, but above all he loved being a husband and a Daddy. Luke loved spending time with his family and friends.

Luke is survived by his wife Brittni Oeltjenbruns and son Colton Luke Oeltjenbruns of Delta, CO; his parents Roger and Lisa Oeltjenbruns of Delta, CO; his sister Mandi (Zack) Ahlberg, of Delta, CO; his parents-in-law Danny and Jacki West of Delta, CO; his grandparents Bob and Sandy Oeltjenbruns and Bobbie Jones of Delta, CO; his sister-in-law Jaimi (Chris) Comerer of Delta, CO; his brother-in-law Brent West of Delta, CO; several nieces and nephews, Cooper, Ellie, Kayson, Kinnley, Karleigh, Kambrie, Jared, and Audrey; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Luke is preceded in death by his grandfather Glen Jones, and four babies that were lost to miscarriage.

There will be a Funeral Service for Luke on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Delta High School Gymnasium with burial to follow at the Delta Municipal Cemetery on 3^rd Street in Delta, Colorado.
