Joseph John Pante’, 87, of Montrose CO, formally of Warren NJ, passed away on December 26,2016 in Montrose CO.  Joseph was born in Newark N.J. to Bartholemew Pante’ and Margaret Zenglein Pante’ on July 31, 1929.  Joe went to school at Kearny High School, Kearny NJ.  He married his middle school sweetheart Mary Campbell Pante’. Joe married Marty Correll Pante’ in 2009. Joe was self-employed as an Interior Decorator for 67 years.  Joe was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army. Joe was a member of both The Elks and American Legion.

Joesph is preceded in death by his parents Bartholemew Pante’ and Margaret Zenglein Pante’, his step-mother Catherine Pante’, his wife Mary Campbell Pante’ and his son Joseph James Pante’.

Joseph is survived by his wife: Marty Pante’, his children: Robert Pante’ and wife Annie Pante’, Mary Pante’ Teel, Deborah Pante’, and Sandra Pante’ Mazzocchi and husband Nicholas Mazzocchi. Marty’s children: Maryann Ellis, Katrina Mezenen, Lynda Kelly, Anna Benscoter, and Van Crain

Sisters: Margaret Mead Pante’, Catherine Pante’, Sharon Pante’ Negron Grand-Children: Robert Pante’, Marcus Pante’, Jessica Teel Leezer, Brian Teel, Douglas Teel, Cynthia Teel Wright, Joseph Pante’ Jr. Michelle Schein, Debbie Schein, Elizabeth Mazzocchi Galleger, Nicholas Mazzocchi Jr., Kevin Betyeman, Meghan Mazzocchi, Campbell Mazzocchi. Nine Great-Grandchildren. Her 15 Grandchildren, and 20 Great-Grandchildren.

His family and friends will remember Joseph by his infectious smile, sense of humor, and most of all: his big heart.   His personality was bigger than life and the impression he left on you was unforgettable.

Funeral services will be held at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel, 802 E. Main Street in Montrose on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00am with burial to follow with Military Honors  at Grand View Cemetery, 16300  6450 Ct., west of Montrose.
