What a wonderful legacy Jim left for you and all of his friends. He set a standard that is pretty tough for us to achieve. It was our privilege to know him as a student in high school and then watch him achieve one goal at a time until now he has achieved the ultimate goal. You have our deepest sympathy in your loss and he will be sorely missed. Cheryl and family, I am sorry I am not able to attend the services, but know you are in my thoughts and prayers. What a pleasure to have know you and called you "friend". You were one of the old guard that I could take for your word and do business on a handshake. Not many of those left my friend.

Jim, I always looked up to you because you radiated compassion. You are the most humble person I\'ve ever met. The things you\'ve done in your life are astounding. You have touched SO many people\'s lives. I only knew you ten years, but I know that you are the type of person I hope to become: compassionate, funny, serious, loyal, trustworthy, hard-working, dedicated, kind, loving, and humble. My prayers are with your family and your close friends as they cope with the loss of you this holiday season. What a gift that you get to spend our Savior\'s birthday in His presence! Until we meet again....know that you are missed.
