James Lee Howe, age 84, passed away on September 26, 2016 in the comforts of his home in Montrose, Colorado. James was born May 25, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to James Henry and Grace Adeline (Bennett) Howe. James grew up in Port Huron, Michigan and graduated from Port Huron High School. James worked as an aerospace engineer for the majority of his career. On January 1, 2002 James married Patricia Siazik who survives him today. James loved traveling, cruising, hiking, bicycling, watching ships sail by on the St. Clair River in Port Huron, Michigan, and absolutely loved traveling in his R.V.

James is survived by his wife Patricia Siazik of Montrose, CO; his sons Douglas (Lora) Howe of Clearwater, FL, David (Cherryl) Howe of Puyallup, WA; his daughter Linda (Daniel) Howe- Zimmerman of Montrose, CO; his sisters-in-law Gloria Zimmer, and Mary Sieber; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his parents James Henry and Grace Howe, his sister Loretta Gilmore, and grandson Wesley Luce.

There will be a Memorial Service for James at The Homestead at Montrose on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1:15 p.m. There will be a Formal Memorial Service at a later date for in Port Huron, Michigan. Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
