Harold Eugene Miller was born in Pratt, Kansas January 20, 1932 to Arthur Wilton Miller and Cora Ettia Friend.  He entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

 

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  On September 12, 1953 he married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Swindler.  He was retired from Mountain Bell / U.S. West.  Following his retirement he and Patricia shared many years between Colorado and Mesa, Arizona.  He cherished the love of his family and their time spent in the great outdoors.  Harold also enjoyed people and volunteering which he did at Christ’s Kitchen and Habitat for Humanity and fellowship of Montrose Christian Church.

 

He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Lorraine, (John) Pello, Cheryl (Douglas) Barnett and sons Larry (Angela) Miller, and James A. (Lori) Miller, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and two sisters.

 

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice, 725 S. 4th Street, Montrose, Co. 81401 or The Montrose Christian Church, 2351 Sunnyside Road, Montrose, Co. 81401.  A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
