A public visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:30pm at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM following the visitation on Saturday, April 21. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in Montrose.

February 14, 1977 – April 13, 2018

Erin Fawn Stenberg-Campas, age 41, of Montrose, Colorado passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at her home. Erin was born February 14, 1977 to Barbra Ann Bruce and Walter John Stenberg Jr., in San Pedro, California. She spent her childhood in Southern California and received her education at Huntington Beach High School, ending at Montrose High School. Then, furthering her career in Nursing she attended Delta Montrose Vo-Tech college in Delta. Erin was a caregiver most of her life. She started off as a CNA but when she was no longer able to do that she continued caregiving by volunteering and helping others in any way that she could. Erin has resided in Montrose for the last 30 years.
Erin married Eberardo Campas in Montrose on June 14, 2006. She always kept busy as they had nine children together.
Family and helping others were her way of life. She enjoyed cooking, swimming, drawing, helping others, and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving family members include her husband, Eberardo Campas of the family home in Montrose; her mother Barbara Bruce Garner (Troy Neely) of Montrose; her grandmother Edith Barela; Her children include Gabrielle Dawn Garduno (Dominick Nichols), Angelique Campas (Jack Bilberry), Marcus Stenberg-Campas, and Adelina Campas; all of Montrose. She was also a step mother to Robert Campas, Junior Campas, Donnie Campas, Marcos Campas, and Mariah Campas. She loved every single one of her children very much. She was also a sister to Dylan Ray Bruce (Caroline Quezada) and a grandmother to Dezmond Ray Nichols and Marcos Jr Campas. Erin was preceded in death by her father Wally Stenberg and her uncle Mike Stenberg. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
