OLATHE – husband, father and friend, Donald Richard Lambuth of Olathe, Colorado passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on March 3, 2015,  after an unexpected illness.  Donald was 47 years old.

Donald “Don” or “PeeWee”, as he was called by his family and friends.  He was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and received his education there.  Following his schooling he moved to Montrose, and worked at Russell Stover Candy factory, where he met the love of his life, Jennifer Kay Koch.  They were married September 17, 1992, and celebrated 22 wonderful years of marriage before God called him home.  Don was also employed at Custom Wood Products in Montrose.  He really enjoyed working with wood and building cabinets.

Don became a father on June 6, 1990 to a wonderful son, Nicholes Ryan Lambuth.  He was a proud father and loved him with all his heart.  Don and Jennifer moved to Olathe in July 2013 where they made their home until Don’s time of death.  He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; his mother, Linda Rhyne; and his wonderful son, Nicholes Lambuth; a brother John Pitcher.

Don touched many lives in so many different ways.  Every heart he touched, he left his own unique mark in their life.  He loved going fishing every chance he could.  He enjoyed camping with his family and brother-in-law, Howard Koch.  A great time was helping his other brother in-law, Gerald Koch and his horses.  Don’s life was all about family, friends and his animals.  He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Don was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

At Don’s request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel.  The service will conclude at the chapel.
