Donald Gene Turley passed away November 18, 2016 in Grand Junction, CO.  He was born January 27, 1931 in Corydon, Indiana.  The family moved to Denver when Gene was nine years old and he spent his childhood and early adult life there.  When his children were grown, he moved to Grand Junction, CO. where he lived out his remaining life.  He enjoyed touring the country in his motor home, seeing the sights and meeting new people along the way.

He is survived by his four children; Janice (Bob) Zook, Littleton, CO., Donna (Alan) Paulson, Georgetown, IN., Steve (Nancy) Turley, Durango, CO., and Sharon (Dale) Gilden, Cimarron, CO; three grandchildren, Scott Gilden, Julie Shireman, and Brian Zook; five great-grandchildren; his brother Robert (Marlene) Turley, Longmont, CO; and four nephews and their families.  Also surviving are former wives Patricia Turley and Doris Avenell.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Colorado.  Burial will be in Pfrimmers Chapel Cemetery, Corydon, Indiana.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose, Colorado is assisting the family.
